Charme and pubic hair instead of finger pointing. The recently launched web project ENTSCHUBLADUNG (German for "non-fitting into a scheme") is taking away the radical-agressive aftertaste of gender mainstreaming, to reach exactly these people who didn't concern with this topic yet. Equal rights for everyone we have long since, but what about rights, if the idea doesn't come across? An animation spot and a web game are spreading this thought of new diversity in a playfully way.

In the animation spot you can see Alex, a naked, modular character, who can be a man, a woman, a pole-dancer,a pilot or everything at the same time. Alex slips into familiar and unfamiliar roles. How much priority do sexual characteristics have, although it is about professions, abilities and functions? On www.entschubladen.de you can create your on character and at the same time you get an overview of facts, information graphics and quotes about the current social situation in Germany. But also the clichee in your own head will be questioned: am I this exposed as I assume?

ENTSCHUBLADUNG is a bachelor thesis from Amrei Andrasch and Dea Dantas Vögler. The producer and sociologist Cord did the sound for the online presentation and gave his product PUNCHI, a unisex towel scarf, as a garment for the character Alex. Read more on www.punchi.de.
