The Pappbrille appears in its artistic side in the Artist Edition: For a series of limited editions, the founder of Pappbrille, Cantemir Gheorgiu, called in some international artists who give an exclusive design to the Pappbrille.

The opener of the Pappbrille Artist Edition is the french artist Ewen Gur. In his works influenced by comics, he puts a mirror in front of modern society. Thereby, the drawing seems unbiasedly without judgements, but with a twinkle in the eye.

This twinkle is effected by the "Rock'n'Roll" Papprille by Ewen Gur and has been documented in a photo series by Oliver Rath.
