In "Die Menge macht das Gift (The dose makes the poison)" an ordinary man’s slow descent is shown, who is turned into a mental murderer and swindler because of his erotic relationship with a woman who has a multiple personality.

When the young film director Pee Wee Horris’ novel (amongst others, short film "Chairs in the Snow") is presented, the listener can expect more than a simple reading. Theatrical, multimedia-based, interactive: Pee Wee Horris lets us dive into images from which he would make movies. His actors in doing so are Holger Handtke and Jytte Merle Böhrnsen.

The reading is accompanied by an exhibition of the photographer Oliver Rath. The six photos which Rath understands as an interpretation of the novel are exhibited in the foyer; the title is "Wer ist Lilly? (Who is Lilly?)."

The multimedia reading and photo exhibition takes place on Tuesday, 28 June 2011 at 8pm in Ballhaus Ost in Berlin.
