In accordance with that principle, The Coup as a PR-agency represents talented artists and outstanding products from the area of fashion and lifestyle. Our focus lies on authentic development and corporate establishment of the brand as an identity. Not doing something, because everybody is doing it – BUT doing the right thing. That means for The Coup: while concentrating directly on the corresponding target group, we have to recognize, use and develop individual resources, which have to, over all, be put into a commercial context. For us, Photo-Production can be seen as the ideal balance between creativity and benefit. A catchy representation is based on extraordinary pictured material and purposeful content. In the process, we can access on a large network of international, experienced photographers, stylists, communication design consultants and writers. Many people are having good ideas, but realizing them profitably can only be achieved by the fewest. For The Coup, success cannot be measured by broadcasting messages randomly into the endless cosmos of media, but by choosing targeted channels and follow hard facts.

We do not see fashion, lifestyle or art as charity institutions. The focus lies on the additional value and therefore the client’s gainings.

Founder and CEO Melanie Marten committed herself to “success stories with rough edges”. In that spirit, Berlin-Kreuzberg has been chosen as our location. The area lies in the heart of the city, where Philistines reside over kebab restaurants, where rappers take their Porsche tenderly to the living room with a lift and where international hipster go for a stroll on a Turkish bazaar. It may be a harsh charm, but it sparkles with authentic identity and that is why it does work.
